As our work is administrative in nature, we have no impact on the outcome of the visa decision or the processing time. These are determined only by the Embassy of Ireland.

Applicants who wish to apply for an Irish visa are requested to kindly read the information on this site carefully. The guidelines listed on this site are to help you prepare your documents as accurately as possible.

You can also send your visa application directly to VFS-Ireland, New Delhi office through post/courier. Kindly refer to the link “POSTAL APPLICATIONS” on the Home Page for further information on the same. We strongly urge applicants to e-mail us on info.irelandin@vfshelpline.com or call our Helpline 022-67866033 before sending the visa application through post/courier. This will help us assist you better.

Important : Please note that with effect from 21 April 2014, the Visa fee for Irish Visa will change to INR 5000 for Single Entry & INR 8300 for Multiple Entry visa. All applications sending applications through post/courier are requested to send Visa Fee Demand Drafts accordingly.

VISA APPLYING PROCESS
Step 1 : Fill in the online application form. To launch an on-line application please click on the link : www.visas.inis.gov.ie
Step 2 : Print the declaration / summary generated that needs to be signed by the applicant.
Step 3 : Signed summary / declaration and the supporting documents submitted to the nearest VFS office. To view the address of VFS offices across India please follow Contact us
Step 4 : As per the instructions of the Irish Embassy, New Delhi to facilitate the visa processing better, all applicants are requested to submit copies of all pages of passport(s). This includes previous/cancelled passports as well. Also, you need to submit copies of all documents that you may need back at the time of collection. Documents once submitted to the Embassy without a copy will not be returned.

As of the 11 November 2014 the following new procedure will apply for visa required residents of Nepal and Bangladesh

Note - Applications from residents of Nepal and Bangladesh will not be accepted at any Ireland visa application Center in any location except for Kolkata and Nepal.

TRACK YOUR PASSPORT STATUS

If you have already submitted your application for an Irish visa, you can track the status of your passport by entering your 6 Digit VFS Barcode No and your Date of Birth Click here

If you have sent your application through post/courier, please e-mail on info.irelandin@vfshelpline.com to know your VFS Barcode No. Please state the name of the applicant (as in passport) and the Passport No. in the email.

SMS & E-MAIL ALERTS

All applicants applying for Ireland visa would receive an e-mail & SMS alert on their given email ID & Mobile Number at following stages of application processing.

Stage I: Application is forwarded to the Embassy of Ireland, New Delhi.

Stage II: Processed application is received back by VFS from the Embassy of Ireland.

Stage III: Application is either couriered or is available at the counter for collection.

Stage IV: Application is collected from Ireland Visa application Centre.

Please note that SMS facility is available for applications submitted in India only. All applicants outside India will be intimated via e-mail.

Important: SMS will not be delivered to Mobile Nos. registered with DND facility of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.
