This is to inform you that w.e.f. 27th February'09 Service Tax has been reduced from 12.36% to 10.30%.

The revised charges are as follows: -

DD Charges: - Rs. 56/-

Re-Submission Fee: - Rs. 200/-

Kindly note that there is no change in the Visa Fee

Embassy of Ireland is introducing a new visa application database for Ireland visa applicants which will be rolled out in India on 21st January 2008. This database -AVATS (Automated Visa Application and Tracking System) - is a new worldwide computerized database of visa application for Ireland. Applicants will have to fill their application forms online.

All applicants need to apply on line at http://www.inis.gov.ie/. In the visa section of this website. Once this is completed they will receive a printed summary which directs them to http://www.irelandinindia.com in order to check the documentation required. After completing the documentation in order, they can submit the application, with the printed summary, passport and visa fee to their nearest VFS centre.

IMPORTANT NOTICE


Visa applicants who already have successfully obtained two single entry visas to Ireland and have traveled to Ireland on the visas obtained are eligible to apply for a multiple entry visa.

However the issuance of a multiple entry visa will be on the discretion of the Embassy of Ireland

Please ensure that you have allowed at least 14 days (5 working days for business travel) between the date you submit your application and the date you wish to travel on. Applications submitted with less time allowed will be returned to you by the Irish Visa Office at the Embassy in New Delhi.

ANY RENEWALS OF CURRENT WORKING VISA/WORK AUTHORISATION WILL CONTINUE TO BE PROCESSED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, EQUALITY AND LAW REFORM IN IRELAND.

ALL QUERIES REGARDING EMPLOYMENT PERMITS FOR IRELAND MUST BE DIRECTED TO THE WORK PERMITS SECTION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ENTERPRISE, TRADE AND EMPLOYMENT IN IRELAND.

NOTICE


The closing date has expired for the "Approval in Principle" scheme. All study visa applicants who wish to apply to travel in September/October are required to prove that one years college fees have been paid in advance. Applications will not be accepted for processing without proof of fees paid.
