If you are a citizen of a country listed on Schedule 1, you do not require an entry visa to Ireland. Citizens of countries which are not on the list must apply for a visa before they travel to Ireland.

If you are a citizen of a country listed on Schedule 2, you require a transit visa.

Please note that a Schengen visa or UK visa or residence permission is not valid for travel to Ireland.

PROCESS


Step 1
Fill in the online application form. To launch an on-line application please click on the link : www.visas.inis.gov.ie

Step 2
Print the declaration / summary generated that needs to be signed by the applicant.

Step 3
Signed summary / declaration and the supporting documents submitted to the nearest VFS office. To view the address of VFS offices across India please follow Contact us

Step 4
As per the instructions of the Irish Embassy, New Delhi to facilitate the visa processing better, all applicants are requested to submit copies of all pages of passport(s). This includes previous/cancelled passports as well. Also, you need to submit copies of all documents that you may need back at the time of collection. Documents once submitted to the Embassy without a copy will not be returned.
